Soakers

Soakers are absorbent covers for your skate blades. They are left on the blades during storage to prevent them from rusting while sitting idle in your skate bag.  TUFFTERRY'S are the soakers of choice at The Inside Edge because they are reinforced on the bottom both inside and outside with durable polypropylene. Their construction offers a greater degree of protection while wicking away residual moisture.  They are made in three sizes: small, medium and large to accommodate all skates, both figure and hockey, and come in many colors. 

For the younger skater, or the skater who is young at heart, BLADE BABIES by American Sport Innovations are funny and whimsical.  These terry lined animal soakers come in one size with an adjustable toggle to accommodate most sizes of blades.  They include monkeys, unicorns, penguins, hippos, frogs and dalmatians.

FUZZY SOAKERS by Sew Sports are extra thick with an absorbent foam lining and are a must have for your blades.  They are available here at the shop in pink, lavender, lime green and blue.
